We had an amazing time at our recent stay in Williamsburg. The value for money was fantastic, with a clean and well-maintained cabin that comfortably accommodated our family. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the attractions, and the staff treated us like family.
Regarding breakfast selection, it would be great to have more variety and options available.

Great Facilities and Helpful Staff
I recently stayed at a small but great campground in Williamsburg. I've been there multiple times, and each time has been wonderful. The facilities are great, from the well-equipped tent sites with water and electric hookups to the beautifully redone bathhouse with granite countertops and modern amenities. The pool and playground are also great, especially for the kids. But what really sets this campground apart is the friendly and helpful staff. From check-in to check-out, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I now prefer staying here over hotels when I visit Williamsburg. I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this campground.

I had the best time at Anvil Campground! The cabin I stayed in was incredibly clean and had a fresh scent when I walked in. The AC was already on, which was a relief since it was a scorching 96o outside. The campground had everything I needed for a great stay, from clean restrooms and showers to a well-maintained pool and fun games like cornhole and tiki toss. I also appreciated the reliable cell service and WiFi, so I could stay connected. And let's not forget the convenient WATA bus stop right at the entrance, which made it easy to get to Busch Gardens. The train tracks behind the property hardly disturbed me, and I actually found it added to the adventure. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this campground!

The location of the campground was central and convenient for visiting nearby attractions in the Historic Triangle. The staff and owners were welcoming, friendly, and provided helpful information. The bathroom facilities were clean and had warm water for showers.
The campground is located near a railroad track, and the passing freight trains could be noisy at times.
